What Krea 3 is about
What makes it different
Krea 3 is Krea's new in-house image editing model, built for production: product-consistent scene changes, object removal, and variants at volume. It is not a distilled copy of a bigger model — it is trained specifically for editing, and it spends its compute on the region you change instead of re-rendering the whole image. That design is why Krea calls it the fastest frontier image model: Krea's own side-by-side shows an edit finishing in under 8 seconds, about 4× faster than Nano Banana Pro (~26.8s) and GPT Image 2.5 (~39.9s), at roughly $0.06 per 2K edit.
The model is aimed at designers and production teams making posters, packaging, branding, covers, and ads. It edits one region while leaving the rest of the image untouched (Krea claims pixel-level precision in its Precise mode), matches exact hex colors on products, composites up to eight reference images into one picture, keeps characters consistent across a sequence of edits, and renders natively at 2K. You can call it through the Krea API or try it in the Krea app, and enterprise customers can self-host it on their own GPUs.
Krea 3 comes from Krea, the creative AI suite co-founded by Victor Perez and Diego Rodriguez (verified via their PH maker profiles: "KREA co-founder." and "building krea"). Krea itself is freemium — free to start generating, with paid plans from $5/month (Basic at $9/month for 5,000 compute units). Krea is running a launch offer of 14 days of unlimited Krea 3 with a qualifying Pro or Max annual purchase.
