What snyvi is about
What makes it different
snyvi is a free, open-source (MIT) desktop app for developers who run several coding-agent projects at once. The premise comes straight from the founderβs launch post: he has more passion projects than hours, and coding agents made the work scatter β plans buried in terminal scrollback, to-dos floating in his head. snyviβs answer is to give each project its own "desk", one calm place where everything about that project lives.
Each desk holds its project folder, up to four agent panels side by side (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, Zed, or any shell), and per-project notes that the agents can read and update. Every plan or review an agent writes is kept on that desk as a versioned page, searchable with βK, so nothing is lost when a terminal session scrolls away. MCP-based document sending wires the agent output straight into the desk.
Privacy is a design decision, not a feature toggle: snyvi is local-only by design. No account, no telemetry, binds to 127.0.0.1. It ships as one 17.4 MB static binary with signed updates, with Mac, Linux and Windows builds β and there is no paid tier. Free means free.
snyvi is built by Sunny Luthra and launched on Product Hunt on 21 October 2026. The launch ask was characteristically practical: he is looking for Mac testers, and the install commands are right there in the launch post.
