What AutoChart.eu is about
What makes it different
AutoChart.eu is a simple idea executed end to end: upload an MP3 or FLAC and it turns your song into a complete, playable song folder for YARG and Clone Hero — the two free, community-driven games in the style of Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Every instrument gets charted automatically by the company's own AI model: drums (with pro cymbals and 2x kick), lead guitar, bass and vocals, with lyrics timed word by word for singing. All four difficulties — Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert — are generated for every instrument, so the whole band, whatever the skill level, can play along.
The conversion needs no technical skills and no hardware. You upload a song from your computer, confirm the title and artist, and confirm you have the rights to use it. The site then charts everything automatically — you can watch the progress move through the queue live — and you get an email as soon as the song folder is ready. Download it, drop it into your game's song library, and start rocking with up to four players, using guitar controllers, e-drums, a microphone, or just your keyboard.
One detail that will matter to rhythm-game veterans: every instrument gets its own separate audio track in the output, not just the note chart. That means when you miss a note, your instrument genuinely drops out of the mix — the way it works on real Rock Band. It is the difference between a chart that looks right and one that feels right to play.
There is nothing to install and no GPU to provision on your side — the site emphasizes that if you can upload a file, you can use it. Conversions usually take between 5 and 30 minutes depending on song length and queue. One credit converts one song up to 10 minutes; longer songs up to 20 minutes use two credits. A failed conversion refunds the credit automatically, and the site is upfront about song rights: it converts the audio you upload, it does not provide any music, and results are for personal, non-commercial play.
AutoChart.eu is built by Phil Taubert, the sole maker on the Product Hunt launch, and he is named in the site's own legal imprint as the service provider, based in Leipzig, Germany — two independent sources for the founder attribution. Pricing is refreshingly subscription-free: your first song is free with no payment details required, and then you buy credit packs whenever you want more — €3.00 for a single song, €20.00 for ten (€2.00 per song), or €40.00 for forty (€1.00 per song) — with credits that never expire and all prices including VAT.
