What Blooio is about
What makes it different

Blooio is a business messaging platform that turns Apple Messages for Business into a real customer channel. Instead of routing customers through web forms, chat widgets, or support tickets, brands can meet them inside the Messages app they already use, with a verified brand identity, rich interactive elements, and media built in.

The product started life as a developer API for sending and receiving iMessages without physical Apple hardware. Founder David Harvey says the team realized businesses did not just need a way to send blue bubbles; they needed actual verified conversations with customers inside Apple's Messages app. Blooio pivoted into an Apple Messaging Service Provider, launching its MSP offering on October 1, 2026.

What sets Blooio apart is feature parity with the channel itself. Brands can build complete guided conversations rather than plain text threads: Business Invitations to pull customers in, List Pickers and Time Pickers for choosing options, Quick Replies for one-tap responses, Forms and Authentication for secure detail collection, file attachments, and even Apple Pay checkout to complete purchases without leaving the conversation.

Going live follows Apple's formal process, and Blooio walks brands through it: register the brand profile for verification in the Apple Business Register, connect the CRM, backend, API, or AI agent workflows and test the experience, then pass Apple's Experience Review before the journey goes live.

For developers, Blooio ships a modern REST API. API v2, released in January 2026, added group chat management (create groups, rename conversations, manage participants), native tapback reactions, HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks, and a fully RESTful design with an OpenAPI specification. The platform promises 99.9% uptime and offers integrations with GoHighLevel, n8n, Make.com, and an MCP server for AI agent workflows, alongside inbound and outbound messaging across Apple Messages, RCS for Business, WhatsApp for Business, and SMS.

Pricing starts with a free tier so teams can start sending instantly. Paid plans scale by volume and infrastructure: Starter at $39/month, Commercial Shared at $89/month, Commercial Dedicated at $289/month, plus an Inbound plan at $98/month and custom Enterprise workspaces. Dedicated plans isolate numbers to the customer's workspace, message history is retained forever, and team members are unlimited on every plan. The company is a member of NVIDIA Inception, Claude Startups, Cloudflare for Startups, AWS Activate, and the Google for Startups Cloud Program.
