Teclo

What makes it different

Teclo sits in your Mac menu bar and plays a synthesized mechanical keyboard sound for every key you press and release, in any app. It ships with 16 sound packs, so you can pick the clack that matches your mood, and a keycap pet that cheers up as you type and powers up when you keep the pace.

The sounds are synthesized rather than recorded, and Teclo never logs or sends what you type — a deliberate privacy stance for a tool that hears every keystroke. It is a small, playful utility made by Andrei, a solo builder launching at $4.99 once for life (the price rises to $9.99 after launch), with a 7-day free trial and one licence covering up to 3 Macs.
